I am running Windows XP SP3, the source I am attempting to integrate Windows Media Player into is also XP SP3.
I am integrating no hotfixes with Media Player for the time being.
For more technical information, I am modifying a installation source that is on a network drive.
I am running a domain controller with RIS (or legacy WDS) set up and I am trying to integrate Windows Media Player into the RIS installation image.
I can't run this before I make the RIS image as the creation process seems to disregard what is in the TXTSETUP.SIF file and always ends up with a corrupt image if i ever use any operating system modification tools such as nLite or this before I create the RIS image. Any nLiting always has had to be done afterwards.
From my knowledge of .NET 2.0 I would say that the problem could possibly be that I am trying to modify the source over a network however as I am mapping that folder to a network drive first I can't see how the path would be invalid - if i was using a direct UNC path then I could see why it would error.
If you need any info let me know!

EDIT: Sorry it seems that this error has already been posted, however the only modifications I have made to my SP3 image is integrating Drivers no other hotfixes so i am not sure why I am getting this error.
